Faculty FAQ

  • What are the criteria for QAS Experiences?
  • Experiences should comprise 3 or 4 courses for that are currently approved by the Academic Senate and exist as part of a major or minor, for a total of approximately 15 units. Experiences should include a significant unit-bearing internship or research experience, and provide at least one setting where students consider how in-class learning and out-of -class learning are informing their perspective on the program topic.
  • Are you looking for particular themes?
  • QAS Experiences should be multi-disciplinary and address topics of societal importance.
  • How do I apply? Is there a deadline?
  • Applications are accepted each quarter.  Review the proposal criteria and deadlines. Please email us at qas@ucdavis.edu to set up a meeting to discuss your idea with the Quarter at Aggie Square proposal review team.
