As the inaugural director for Quarter at Aggie Square, Dr. Holden oversees the portfolio of programs, new experience development, campus partnerships, external community relations, and strategic vision of programmatic effectiveness and success.

As a first-generation and former California Community Colleges transfer student, she is passionate about supporting students with equitable and accessible programming that meets their goals and helps them build community. Dr. Holden recently completed her doctorate in educational leadership, Ed.D., through the UC Davis CANDEL program. Her research focused on faculty’s experiences with and understanding of global learning, which focuses on the process of learning, learning about the world using pluralistic and multicultural perspectives, and self-reflective practices. She investigated faculty members’ approaches to designing and delivering college courses that integrate a global learning focus holistically through class activities and content.
